Train Ride

Today rode the train to Seattle.  Lots of accidents.  Train delayed because it hit a passenger, doctor was being paged, and now we are sitting and waiting on track because a car is in the track so it has been reported.  Oh and a passenger was left in the depot after Eugene. 

Grace

Thank you for your grace and comfort.  Need to settle in your courage, and strength.  My patience and calmness still waiver.  Jesus thank you for answers to prayers, support, family and friends.  You have a purpose, let people see that.

My Comforter

Thank you for being beside me and uplifting me.  You are my support.  I love you Jesus. Need your help and grace and wisdom and strength. I have bee so drained and shocked.  Been so tired.  Spent all day applying and writing and sleeping.  You have bee near me today, but the sting is still there.  I hurt and give it to you.  You are directing my path.

Relief from pressure.

Charleston Exit and 280

First time to see a coyote dart out from the grass patch at the 280 Charleston Exit early in the morning.  It almost hit my car!

Teamwork

During mid morning transition three teachers work well together as a team.  A  teacher in another classroom needs support and classes need to be merged. These three teachers are skilled, knowledgeable, educated, and experienced. Each team member immediately assess the number of children, curriculum status, children's needs and staff scheduling.  One teacher started teaching at circle, another started with bathroom duty, and the third teacher     arranged the eating area and cots with help from some children.  The classroom was harmonious with children being taught, engaged, cared for and happy.  The teachers were within ratio, and were able to take breaks on time and support other classrooms.  What a beautiful and happy day to recall and reflect upon.

Friday nights and children

A comfy place to watch TV with popcorn.  Friday nights with movie selected from the library, dinner of chicken strips and tater tots, we were set as a family to enjoy the comfy sofa, food, and laughter of children. 

Hiking

A friend has invited me to go on a day hike.  I am looking forward t walking, birding, and taking pictures.  Yeah!!!

Great Hug

The hug I received a few weeks ago still brings smiles and makes me so happy.  Hugs are so great and food for the soul. 

The Peaceful Meeting Place

The meeting place for a family has ended.  In the beginning this special place served as crossover for families and friends as the spread their wings for new adventures.  Then it provided first families permanency.  The house grew from laughter, news from travels and cries of children. The timbers weighed heavily from the sadness of families who were grieving for the patriarch and  matriarch and for the love they each received.  A hopeful horizon has emerged as each searches for that new meeting place of eternal love. May Jesus always be with them.

Laughter with Friends

Had a peaceful meal with friends. Felt great to hear their laughter and see everyone smiling.  Grandma Nin Nin would have loved this time. We all miss her greatly and loved her. Thank you.
